91 Days: One of the Best Revenge Story

When we hear the word "Anime," only a few names come to mind, including Naruto, FullMetal Alchemist, Death Note, etc. There is no doubt that all of them are good, but sadly, we ignore other amazing shows like this one.

For people who enjoy themes like mafia and crime, "91 Days" is one of the best shows so far.

It is indeed a great revenge story.

The whole show revolves around a young boy whose family was killed by a mafia group during his childhood. Somehow, he was able to escape from those people, but now, revenge was the only purpose of his life.

The Overall Review of 91 Days

First of all, this show actually had a great story to which many people can relate in different ways. A kid had a great and simple life with his family, but unexpectedly, his life was completely changed when all of his family members were killed right in front of him.

What do you expect him to do?

He was left with two options:

  1. Forget everything,
  2. Take revenge on his family.

He chose the second option, and his entire journey was quite convincing and filled with twists. He actually joined the mafia groups himself, earned their full trust, and then did what he wanted to.

The whole series was done very nicely, including emotions, friendships, action, music, and more. Most importantly, the show is short and to the point, so the audience doesn’t get bored.

If you are a fan of Peaky Blinders, you will definitely enjoy this show.

According to my opinion, 91 Days is very similar to it. As both shows are about the same era and sort of the same genre, you will find a lot of similarities between them, like in the dressing, cars, and other stuff.

In terms of emotions, you can also compare the main character of 91 Days to Thomas Shelby from Peaky Blinders.

How?

Well, both of them were heartbroken and alone.

Even though it is an animated series, it still manages to make us fall for the characters. You can feel the pain and suffering that he has been going through for so long.

Now, let’s talk about:

Show Intro Song

One of the best introductions ever!

Even though we don’t speak or understand Japanese, this intro is still able to give us chills because of the music and scenes it has.

Within a few seconds, they were able to make us fall for this show. There was a part where the main character tried to kill himself with his gun while remembering his bad memories.

That was done amazingly, and it made me watch it over and over.

Not only this, but if you translate the lyrics, you will see how well the song was written. It totally relates to the show’s storyline and the lead character’s motive.

One of the best lines of the song, for me, is:

Oh, hate, stay by my side because I want to kill you.

(Of course, to understand the lyrics, you need to translate into your language first)

This one line is the main premise of this whole show.

 Now, moving on to:

Ending of the Show

The show concluded with a powerful message about vengeance. He did succeed in his mission, but the way it ended was quite unexpected.

To know what happened, just watch the show.

It’s totally worth your time.
