Breaking Bad: One of the Best Shows of All Time

Can we ever forget Walter White?

I don’t think so.

What a character that was all messed up from the beginning but still grabs the complete attention of others. His character proved

Never underestimate others.

Breaking Bad is a crime drama whose story revolves around the life of Walter White, who was working as a chemistry teacher but was later diagnosed with cancer. As he did have financial issues, he steps into a completely dangerous world to save up some money for his family.

But after that moment, his life and personality changed completely.

I would like to share my opinion on this show and will also highlight some great moments.

Starting with our all-time favorite duo:

Walter White and Jesse Pinkman

There is no doubt that Walt did control Jesse, but deep down, he also cared about him. No matter what, I will always love the way their relationship was presented in the whole series.

In the beginning, one can never guess how these two could get along.

They were diametrically opposed to one another.

Surprisingly, they remained complete opposites of each other throughout the whole show.

At the start, we always thought that Jesse was a bad guy who would sooner or later deceive Walter, but we were wrong.

He was a gem.

On the other hand, Walter became someone we could possibly imagine.

He manipulated, hurt, destroyed, and played with so many people’s lives.

In the case of Jesse, he was a bit different. No matter what others say, let’s be real: He did care about him as his partner and a son.

Let’s highlight one of those moments:

Tuco’s confrontation scene

This was one of the most exciting scenes in the first two seasons of Breaking Bad, as something unexpected came out of Walter.

After this moment, he became confident and was able to confront all the dealers on his own in a more convincing way.

Jesse and Walter had a special bond that is difficult to describe in words.

They both have good and bad memories.

Here are some of their great moments together.

I always loved this RV, as there are so many memories attached to it.

It was the time of their lives when their business was small but at least less toxic.

The moment when this RV was destroyed was another sad scene for me.

This was another home to Jesse; if you remember how much he loved it, when he became homeless, he took shelter here. It was a great companion for him.

Now, I would like to talk about:

The Best Moment between Walter and Jesse

Jesse hugged  Walter

Yes, Jesse was in a lot of pain over here, but the way this scene is written and the actors have played it, it's one of the most heartbreaking and best scenes in the whole show.

The moment Walt called him Son and he was crying like a baby is everything.

Jesse had gone through a lot, which completely changed his personality.

This was one of those moments.

Moving on, let’s talk about some of:

The Best Characters in the Show

I would love to start it with:

Huel

Of course, he was one of the lead characters in the show, but what a character he was! In such a serious show as Breaking Bad, Huel turned out to be one of the most entertaining characters.

Here is a clip of him:

He was hilarious in every scene he had on the show.

Now, moving on to the next one:

Gus Fring and Hector

The thing I loved about Gus Fring was his calmness throughout the show. That dude surely had a next-level attitude.

Doesn’t he?

No matter what, he remained silent and calm, and had the ability to control his emotions, which made him one of the finest characters in the show.

On the other hand, from the first moment to the last, Hector always had anger in his eyes.

Despite his condition, he remained one of the most terrifying characters in Breaking Bad. He couldn’t walk, speak, or do anything, but he was still able to scare the hell out of people.

The reason I am mentioning these two together is because of this scene:

Even after so many years, this scene still gives goosebumps, especially the moment when, even after the blast, we saw Gus walking out of the room.

Seriously, a totally unexpected and epic ending to these two characters

This show was full of surprises.

This brings me to:

The Most Painful Deaths in the Show

Mike is killed by Walt

No matter if it was an accident or not, it is one of the most heartbreaking incidents of the show. He was one of the other amazing characters in the show who was getting rid of the hell in which he was living for the song, but sadly, things didn’t work out for him.

His last conversation with Walter and how he was sitting while having the view and bleeding to death was just all.

At least he died with dignity.

He was already aware of Walts's messed-up personality and had also warned Jesse multiple times to stay away from him.

But surely, this moment was shocking for him too. I always enjoyed his character, and it is not wrong to say that he was not a bad person, just stuck in bad business.

Now, next one:

Andrea Death Scene

Honestly, I was never a big fan of Jane at all, but Andrea was something. She had a pure, humble character and truly cared about Jesse.

I liked their pair, but unfortunately, they didn’t get a happy ending.

In fact, no one on the show did.

But the way she was killed was so painful to watch.

Why did an innocent person, who was completely unaware of the situation, have to die like this?

And the way Jesse was crying helplessly made it worse for us to watch it.

If I had to vote on the toxicity level of all the characters, Todd would surely be at the top.

First, he killed an innocent child and then an innocent woman, leaving his child an orphan.

Without a doubt, his death scene was the most satisfying one of the whole series.

I'll get to that part later.

Right now, I would like to discuss:

Some heartbreaking moments

Skyler is crying for her baby.

Do you remember this moment?

This is one of those scenes that can never be forgotten.

Anna Gunn nailed it.

If you see her interview, she herself confessed that it was one of the most difficult scenes for her. There are a lot of moments in which we hated Walter, and this is one of them.

He destroyed her. If you compare Skyler from Season 1 to the last season, you will see two completely different personalities.

There is no doubt that dating Ted was a terrible thing she did, but it is still nothing compared to what Walter did to her.

She was a good wife who loved him deeply, but the greed ruined everything.

In that situation, how can we forget:

Holly called her mother

Let’s take a look at the scene first:

This scene is more painful than cute.

Isn’t it?

Walter didn’t intend to become a reason for the suffering of his own children, but he did.

He kept his son in the darkness, and then his daughter, who couldn’t even understand what hell she was in.

This is such a powerful scene, and this was one of those moments in which Walter finally realised he had to leave his family alone.

At that moment, I felt happy that finally, he would let go of them.

A few seconds scene but worth remembering!

Let’s make our moods a little lighter and take a look at:

The most hilarious scene in Breaking Bad

Jesse is having dinner with Walt and Skyler.

For me, this was one of the funniest scenes in the whole series.

I loved Jesse’s innocence over here. He was so uncomfortable but still trying his best to be nice to Skyler. On the other hand, Skyler was not liking his presence in her house, while Walter was silently relaxing and examining the whole scene.

I wish we could see Jesse having a nice dinner with his parents, but unfortunately, that moment never came.

Jesse was such a cutie, and he did have a good heart.

Remember this one?

The way he looked after this unknown child was such a heart-melting moment.

It’s a sad thing that Jesse has to go through so much.

He was ignored, beaten, taken for granted, lost his loved ones, worked as a slave, and so much more.

He surely didn’t deserve that.

This brings me to:

The End of the Show

After all of the damage was done, Walter realized he needed to repair things as best he could.

Even though he can’t just put things back the way they used to be, he can at least do something.

Two things he did in the last:

  1. confessed that he did all this for himself and not his family,
  2. Rescued Jesse from the dungeon

Last week, we talked about both things.

Starting with the first one:

For me, it is one of the finest confessions made by Water.

They didn’t have a very long or time-wasting conversation, but a brief and to-the-point one.

The way he admitted everything was such a relief for Skyler and Walter too.

He finally spoke the truth:

He enjoyed,

He felt alive.

This was their final scene, and it was such a heart-touching ending to their relationship.

I really felt bad for Skyler.

But now she will be able to take a fresh start.

Now moving on to the second one:

pic

What a heroic thing he did in his last moments.

Isn’t it?

This was the moment in which all the anger and hatred for Walter was reduced and even gone.

not only the audience but also Jesse Pinkman himself.

Walt was always a wise guy, and it was one of the bravest things one could ever do.

The way he plotted everything and protected Jesse was quite clever of him.

He was surely in the devil’s den but managed to do the right thing.

His death scene was painful and brought tears to the audience’s eyes.

Walter was a good person but just got blinded by greed.

He was the one who lost everything. Not only did he lose his loved ones, but also the money for which he came this far.

In the end, he simply didn’t care for anything.

This show teaches us so many valuable lessons that almost everyone goes through at some point in their lives.

A show is like a great gift for viewers.

Let’s end this with their final goodbyes to each other:
